Freehold offer for Polish unit

A POLISH company now are offering for sale the freehold on 2471 acres south of Gdansk.

About 1480 acres are heavy arable land with the remainder down to grass and the current farming enterprises include combinable crops – wheat yields average 3.5-4t/acre and a 200-cow dairy.

"Grabina is a reasonably well equipped unit," said Ian Youdan, Brown & Co handling the sale from the UK, "For an eligible buyer, a Polish individual or company, the freehold is guided at about £300/acre".

Mr Youdan maintains the price is justifiable in economic terms and an equivalent fenland farm in East Anglia would make about seven times more.

Also for any interested parties not immediately meeting the eligibility criteria, advice is available to enable the investment.
