Edinburgh hosts GM food conference
BRITAIN is playing host to the first international conference on genetically-modified (GM) food later this month.
Some 400 government regulators, scientists, consumer representatives and environmentalists are expected to attend the event in Edinburgh.
Dr Arpad Pusztai, the scientist whose controversial experiments first triggered concern about GM food, will be a panellist.
